Tournament Info:
Bulletin #3 – Wildcard Information:
The Northwest and Kootney Zones have confirmed they will not be sending a team this year. At this time that dictates the number of wildcard berths available for the Junior Girls Provincials at 4 and I assume that number is locked in at this point.
Here is how we are going to proceed:
*** The Lower Mainland Zone receives a maximum of one wildcard berth total. Van District, Van City and Van Independent can only put forth an application for their next inline berth, not the two granted to the other zones. ***
Bulletin #2 – Updates and More Information:
COST CHANGE
Entry Fee Increased to $375
Was trying to keep the entry fee the same as last year while also providing a better experience for the athletes, unfortunately things are not working out as planned. Additions this year include: medals for the top 3 teams, lanyards for all participants, and player of the game t-shirts for all games!
*** All cheques made out to Earl Marriott Secondary. ***
Thanks for your understanding.

Tournament Clothing - Kahunaverse will be providing this year’s tournament gear. It will once again be an online store; all orders must be placed as a team. Options include short sleeve t’s, long-sleeved t’s and hoodies in tournament colours. There will not be any gear available for sale during the tournament, please encourage parents to purchase at the time of their team.
Please check back for the link. Deadline will be posted and must be met if your team is looking for tournament gear.
Registration - It is critical to register and submit your roster if you believe there is a chance you could qualify for the Provincials. The sooner the better! Late qualifiers and registrations risk being excluded from the program as well as not having their food requests met for the banquet.
Registration Page can be found on website navigation bar. Please complete the online form in its entirety and submit a roster.
Tournament Officials - Our goal is to provide consistency across the tournament at all sites. Please expect the following: A Head Referee and Assistant Referee will be provided for all games; parents may be required to keep score; parents or players will be asked to assist with lining duties.
Tournament Gate - No Gate. We have decided to slightly increase the cost of tournament registration and eliminate the entry gate for all dates and locations. Please encourage parents, family and friends to attend and watch some fantastic volleyball.
Tournament Hotels – Unfortunately we have lost our long-time tournament supporter, the Pacific Inn and Suites, the hotel is undergoing a massive renovation and is currently closed.
We have secured the Holiday Inn and Suites in Cloverdale, less then 15km away, as our main tournament hotel. They have an extremely reasonable rate for our tournament guests, on site breakfast and is conveniently located near the tournament sites. Our goal is to provide another option closer to South Surrey, however please expect there to be less room availability and higher price for those potential accommodations.
Our Accommodations Page can be found on our website navigation bar and includes the rates and all contact information.
Contact - Please feel free to contact Taylor Clift, Tournament Director ([email protected] or 604.761.0784) with any questions you may have.

Here is how we are going to proceed:
- Each Zone (North Central; Okanagan; Island; Lower Mainland; Fraser Valley) will be eligible to receive a maximum of one additional berth via the Wildcard.
- I will accept applications from the 1st or 2nd team outside your allocated berths (for example if the 3rd or 4th place team from North Central does not want to attend the Provincials, the 5th place team does not have the ability to apply for a wildcard berth).
- The wildcard application deadline for these submissions will be Noon on Sunday November 18th. Please include results against teams who have a place in Provincials, both wins and loses, be sure to include type of game (league, playoff, tournament pool play or playoffs).
- A decision will be provided to all teams by 6:00pm on Sunday November 18th. Teams must accept their offer in writing by 8:00pm on Sunday November 18th, if not the next team in line will be awarded the spot.
- Important to note that the online clothing purchases close on Sunday November 18th at Midnight. No extensions to this deadline.
- Food, Roster, and Team Photo an Logo need to be submitted by Monday November 19th at 9:00am.
